Final Round of Moot Court Competition in Turkmenistan

The final round of the Moot Court Competition, organized by Hukukchy Law Firm, took place today at the "Arkach" Shopping Centre – Ish Nokady in Ashgabat.

The event brought together some of the brightest law students from Turkmenistan’s leading universities, including Magtymguly Turkmen State University, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the International University for the Humanities and Development.

The competition, designed to bridge academic legal theory with real-world legal practice, included both written and oral pleadings. Over several rounds, students demonstrated their advocacy skills, legal research, and persuasive argumentation before panels of experienced legal professionals.

The final round was attended by invited guests, legal practitioners, and representatives from prominent law firms, including Mr. Sergey Mineyev, Managing Partner of Nexia Turkmenistan, who was among the distinguished attendees.

Mr. Jumamyrat Gurbanov, Managing partner of Hukukchy Law Firm noted that the competition aims to support the professional development of future legal experts in Turkmenistan by offering a practical platform for applying legal knowledge in a simulated courtroom environment.

The event concluded with recognition of the best-performing teams and participants, affirming the growing enthusiasm and potential among Turkmenistan’s next generation of legal professionals.
