Export as a Practical Challenge for SMEs

On December 17, the business platform "Export: Innovative Models and Solutions" was held in Ashgabat, in the Ish Nokady Conference Hall of the Arkach Business Center. It brought together entrepreneurs, consultants, and experts working on developing SME export activities.

Dr. Sergey Mineyev, Managing partner, has attended the event where the focus was on the real barriers to SME exports in Turkmenistan, as well as business needs and tools for overcoming them.

Particularly valuable were the lively dialogue formats, consultant pitch sessions, the panel discussion "Map of Business Challenges in Export Activities," and the Open Mic, where entrepreneurs were able to directly identify their challenges and receive professional feedback.

Special attention was given to the potential of SME support programs, including EBRD initiatives, particularly those related to trade finance in cooperation with the local Rysgalbank.

The event confirmed that exporting for SMEs is a manageable process that requires a systematic approach, institutional support, and the development of management competencies.

We thank the organizers and participants for the informative dialogue and practical exchange of experiences.
