Annual meeting of DA UET
On December 2, 2023, the annual general meeting of members-appraisers of the Union of Economists of Turkmenistan (UET) was held at the office of the UET. At the meeting, the results of activities of the Division of Appraisers in 2023 were summarized.
Presentations were made by:
• Mr. S. Mineyev, head of the Appraisers Division of UET: “Results of the 2nd International Forum of Appraisers of Turkic-Speaking States”;
• Mr. M. Bekmuradov, Director of Hitech Co.: “Parsing and data analysis as market research tools for appraisers”.
Thereafter, a round table was organized with the participation of the Expert Council of the UET’s Division of Appraisers, at which topical issues of valuation practice in Turkmenistan in 2023 were discussed.
The results were summed up in the final part of the meeting by Mr. S. Mineyev, head of the UET’s Division of Appraisers, which covered the activities of the Division in 2023, organizational issues and the work plan for the first half of 2024.
The UET’s Division of Appraisers continues actively participating in valuation service market development, training of local appraisers and cooperates with international organizations so that the valuation profession in Turkmenistan is to be conducted in compliance with the international standards and tendencies.
